Services

Dr. Atienza is an ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of retina, macula, and vitreous problems such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, macular holes, epimacular membranes, retinopathy of prematurity, complications of cataract surgery, and ocular trauma.  

​​Dr. Atienza started his practice as a full time medical and surgical retina specialist after finishing his fellowship in 2004. He has concentrated on diagnosis and treatment of vitreo-retinal diseases.

​​Other ophthalmic subspecialty cases are also seen by Dr. Atienza, and if need be, are referred to the corresponding ophthalmic sub-​specialists for more comprehensive management. Close collaboration with different colleagues ensure patients they will be treated competently.
